After passing through a second doorway, you enter an old warehouse that contains a cane for self-defense. You need to respond to him with only a single “hello.” After this, he knocks you out and puts you in a cage. Eventually, you realize that the bars separating your cell from the neighboring one are damaged. With a little more cleverness, you manage to slip through and continue your escape journey. This time, you understand that if you encounter a large ugly man you must turn away and run. Doing otherwise will immediately place you back in your cell. In order to leave this place of the devil and return to life, you need to find a wrench to defend yourself, a knife, instructions on how to adjust the cockpits in the pressurized room, an explosive device for local use and a code to open one of the mysterious boxes. Additionally, you need to find the next clue in the building by digging out a significant code. A secret room with a hidden piece of paper is accessible via the next several significant events. Opening this code leads to an iron cage hallway that conceals the numbers listed on the paper. When you enter the code into the elevator, everything around you fades away as if you were transported to another plane of existence. Then, the elevator silently transports you downward until you no longer exist. Encountered in a decrepit automotive chassis, the protagonist's eyes behold the siren wail of a police car. In a traumatized state, the monstrosity that masqueraded as a human might spring from the passenger compartment. An abrupt conclusion to this macabre drama leaves one speechless.

Regardless of the complexity or simplicity of a scary game, sound is still an important aspect. This is seen in A Stranger Place, which uses both discretely placed background music and soft tunes to make the pacing of the game shift. This game sets a high pace with its realistic sound design. You always feel nervous and short on time when playing. The dwarf's screams and footsteps in the background add to the intensity. When someone unlocks the door, the sound of the latch clicking resonates through the room.
