This game requires a certain number of heroes with a maximum of 5; however, players can choose any number between 1 and 5. This game involves strategically playing chess with enemies that appear in different locations. You can also view the game map from a third-person perspective and alter it to a top-down view so you can easily observe the game screen. Doing this allows you to strategically defeat many enemies in front of you with smart tactics.

Chain Strike™’s gameplay is explained through each of its in-game mechanics. These are broken down into individual steps, which helps players better understand the game. The game includes five heroes in a group; each has distinct traits and abilities that players will want to focus on. Just below the right edge of the screen, you'll see three hexagonal shapes representing the amount of energy gained from each match. This is helpful when using skills. A 5x7 grid appears on the game screen. Players can choose to move or attack by touching the displayed character. From a distance, players can see green squares on the grid that they can physically access. Your choice of attack takes mana from your enemies, although many attacks consume more mana than that. When performing a pincer attack, you need to consider the energy cost and distance traveled accurately. Doing this will ensure that your characters move properly in their planned strategy. This will lead to them standing in a specific position where multiple lines extending far away appear. These figures represent a message to you that you should perform an action for maximum damage with minimal mana cost.

Chain Strike™ requires players to construct a list of heroes with outstanding abilities and appearances. These heroes are intended to help players overcome difficult challenges. Your gacha mechanic inspires you with every spin. Other beloved mechanics include summonings through Lucky Spin and numerous other methods. This process randomly chooses which hero to summon. Some people even feel like they are summoning a character when they aren’t, which requires a certain amount of resources to complete. The game's second mechanism is the summon system; it requires a significant number of heroes to participate. Summoning a hero automatically starts a chain of events that must be completed in order. Once this is done, the hero can be upgraded to its maximum potential and used in combat.

Chain Strike™ has multiple difficulty levels that players can choose from. When entering a game, players must understand the game's mechanics and how to play the story mode. This is so they can prepare for other more difficult challenges. Additionally, this will help players prepare for specific roles in other modes. The third floor of the Forgotten Tower has many dangerous surprises and dangerous things inside. There's also the Giant Boss, a difficult enemy to fight with a large body that must be taken head-on.
