It was developed in collaboration with Halfbrick Studios, which is the developer of the game Fruit Ninja. Dan the Man's 7 previous parts all involve him finding his girlfriend's kidnappers and fighting against them. This game is considered to be part 8 and follows the same story line. During this time, Dan's village is being destroyed by dark forces. You must help Dan fight the bad guys so that he can trace down his girlfriend and track down her kidnappers. Dan the Man includes 12 Story Mode stages; it is a role-playing game set in a fantasy world. The game includes many quests to unlock more information about Dan and the world. In classic arcade games, players use an Odyssey-style controller that consists of a 5-button grid. Additional buttons include Jump, Left, Right, Attack and Shoot.
