Like the previous games in this building series, Dream Park Story has an online mode. You can tour other players' parks in this mode; however, it's only available to users in specific regions. These regions are Canada, Vietnam and other countries that had the previous games in the series. In the online mode, you can also view a park's leaderboard and participate in a building competition with other players. The last feature available in this game is a global online leaderboard that displays everyone's park statuses.

With 8-bit graphics that appeal to those with nostalgia, the game provides an entertaining experience. The graphics are considered mediocre and not very good, but players appreciate the bright colors and funny sounds. ———
