This app shows the battery life and how much energy the device has left. It also shows the Energy Ring, which users can immediately select to show the device’s energy level. This ring lights up any camera it comes in contact with. Additionally, it drapes a unique halo around any object it graces.

This application displays the battery strength of a device. It displays green whenever the battery is at a safe level, and red when it's below a warning level. Additionally, the color displayed changes with the amount of battery a device has.

Mixing between multiple colors and selecting the right colors are at the user's disposal. This shows up as a color palette associated with the Energy Ring's energy ring. Further, users can choose manually between any colors to make their wallpaper standout.

This app lets users manually pick a style for the way images are rotated. Different styles are available so users can pick either clockwise or counter-clockwise. Doing this manually changes how images look.

The Energy Ring can adjust the thickness, length and thickness to fit your needs. Or you can choose one of many custom sizes. Many devices need specific sizes, so you can choose whichever one fits your needs.

Change the ring's thickness to match the size and shape of your device. Adding a new color to renew our energy ring energizes us. Select either clockwise or counter-clockwise to change direction, or choose to toggle the change. This icon indicates the current battery level. When its color changes, it indicates the battery is in a different condition. It hides or becomes visible according to what needs it satisfies. It’s also confined to a specific timeframe. ———

All that is cool! But what about Energy Ring consuming Battery?!

This is one of the most exciting question for me to answer. Energy Ring more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently (after all, that's why you installed the App, right? ;) .) Energy Ring sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Ring. Once awake, Energy Ring quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. And to be that extra efficient, the Ring goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.

Accessibility Service Requirement:
Android requires Energy Ring to run as an Accessibility Service, to be able to display on Lock Screen. It does not read/monitor any data, whatsoever. This is especially useful for people who have disability to read numbers and work better with visual data.

No charging animation?
Settings > Accessibility > Visibility enhancements > Remove Animations > uncheck if it's checked.


Screen burn-in:
The original variant of the App, Energy Bar has been used over several years by users on their AMOLED devices, there has been no complains. But there is no claim that it may not happen.

Re-enable after exiting power saving mode:
If you enter into power saving mode, Energy Ring will be disabled by the System, to re-activate you must restart your device.

Samsung automatically moves few pixels every now and then to avoid screen burn-in which includes Energy Ring moving away from its original position. This change in position will however be visible only when you have set its thickness to minimum.

To change the energy ring, discover its hidden compartment.
The battery's capacity is shown on its icon.
Change the colors of your device.
Change the angle of the image.
Adjust the thickness to your liking.
