Graffiti Smash is a painting battle game in which Hunters and Graffiti artists face off against each other. Players can connect lines of paint to gain strength and destroy the monsters that appear in front of them. To navigate the battle, players must consider the direction of enemy attacks. Doing so correctly allows players to combine attacks with other characters and quickly defeat the enemy. When you drag the small images of the characters on the field, you get an arrow that you can move to the direction of your choice and use to hit the opponent. Each character bouncing off the wall keeps moving for a moment before colliding again. This gives characters new ideas for use with their abilities by allowing them to still be active during collisions.

Graffiti Smash includes four characters with unique abilities. Three characters battle independently, while a supporting character aids them in overcoming obstacles. Each character leaves distinct paint markings while moving throughout the field. These markings provide alternate effects when mixed together. Paint temporarily grants your attacks an additional damage value. Also, certain attack mechanisms — such as paintballs — can't be ignored. One unique aspect of characters in this game is Link. When attacking or in contact with another character, Link allows a touched character to also perform an action even though it's not their turn. Each character has a special ability that can be charged after each turn. When completely powered up, it grants a powerful attack. Adding hunter paint to the field increases its strength. You have the ability to summon Graffiti onto the board once per turn. Graffiti is randomly placed on the board and remains visible until you touch it. When Graffiti is revealed, it damages enemy characters and also provides significant bonus damage during its attack.

Graffiti Smash requires specific weapons and armor for each character. This gives characters additional strength when leveling up, as well as different weapon art for each attack. Consequently, people need to take back Arc where it was born and raised; otherwise, the earth will remain Arc-bound forever.

Specialized hunters exhibit resistance to the dangerous cells on the earth's surface. Consequently, they develop many combat skills not usual for most combatants. As a result of this high number of hunter registrants, it took significant effort to gather them all. Special bonds tie paint strokes and hunters together. This makes hundreds of hunters very easy to own and manage. From there, create a variety of fighting strategies to combat Arc.
