Heart's Medicine sees Allison in a bad mood reflected in the mirror. She explains how the plague appeared at her hospital through unfortunate events. When learning about Allison's tragic past, you can travel back in time three months. This gives you a new chance to start over, as you cooperate with Allison as she treats patients at the hospital. During this time, you encounter many different cases and discover ways to cure them with the available supplies. Additionally, your workload as a doctor increases with the addition of additional patients; you must treat them correctly to keep your workload manageable.

Upon entering the first level of Heart's Medicine, the player observes firstpatient appear. Immediate data appears in the form of an image with a desire to sit in a chair. You need to touch the corresponding location at the same time as controlling Allison's actions through navigation. In order to do different activities, navigate Allison's movements. The character will move from location to location in the game. To properly care for patients, the player must move them to a hospital bed. This signals Allison's official work beginning when he assesses the health of his patients. Some patients can be discharged from the exam, while others must be admitted to the ward. During the same time, patients require patient movement; patients have specific patience levels that must be respected. There are also nearby items that need to be interacted with quickly. Each patient has a certain time limit to heal. For each character, an attached time bar indicates the amount of time they have left to heal. The number of patients that can be in a single line can be consecutive; you need to focus on healing the most important ones first. There are also point and star systems that you need to collect and display through the level in the best way possible.

Heart's Medicine reveals that the player character can cure many diseases. Some diseases have mild symptoms, while others cause more severe symptoms. Certain health items can be used to treat these diseases; players can use a specific number to finish their cure. However, players need to constantly replace the items they use if they run out. Patients sometimes receive treatments that cause both beneficial and negative results. One example is a wound dressing, which comes with its own unique evaluation system. Patients must also undergo evaluations in related to the level and separate from these evaluations. You need to treat a wound by bandaging from one rectangle to another. You also need to wrap up the procedure quickly so you can collect as many hearts as possible before the clock runs out. Players journey alongside the protagonist named Allison as she helps patients. Players recently helped Allison’s business through exposure they saw three months ago. Evinrude treats patients with different conditions by diagnosing their ailments and providing care in different ways. Each patient requires certain deadlines and strict requirements that need to be met quickly and accurately by the caretaker. Items related to health will appear in front of the player. This allows the character to quickly navigate their surroundings and restore their health. New diseases constantly appear and patients adapt by focusing on those that matter. ———
