It was originally book with music. The world of Keygard have two parts:
1)Shadows of Serebrile is a prequel to the main story that tells about the origin of evil in the land of Keygard.
2)This Game - The Swamp Elves are the main story about the difficult fate of the inhabitants of the city Tankvilas, who lost their home and went on a journey to create an alliance against evil in the land of Keygard.

Each level of the game corresponds to a chapter of the book, and the first character you play as Ellor, the great magician of Tankvilas.
