Without energy, your heroes can't use the skill— instead, the red arrow next to the energy bar indicates low energy, yellow signifies moderate energy and blue signifies significant energy.

Heroes of the Kingdom of Hero: Tactics War features five classes: Archer, Fighter, Wizard, Priest and Guardian. Each hero comes with one to four skills; some heroes have special skills that are unlocked when others are used up. Some heroes also have passive skills— abilities that are always active— and these make the game easier to win. You need to learn how to maximise your powers by knowing when to use each special skill. Archers and Wizards have a longer range than Fighters when it comes to their attacks. When playing as one of these hero classes, you need to be close to your enemy's hexagon in order to damage them. However, Archer and Wizard heroes have a longer range than Fighter heroes. This is why you can see more about each character's information in the wizard and archer sections.

In Kingdom of Hero: Tactics War, players create and upgrade gems in a Runes system. Next, they craft new gems to increase their heroes' stats. They use these gems to increase the damage dealt by blue-colored gems and increase their chances of a critical hit. To unlock characters or gemstones, complete Arena or Dungeon challenging modes frequently to earn many rewards.
