The savant character at the beginning of Rooms of Doom lays the groundwork for his journey by creating the Cat-in-Cat, a creature that is otherwise considered strange. Players won't let obstacles damage the game screen— instead, they'll move around and ignore them. This game requires exceptional reflexes that players develop over many successful challenges. These challenges often come with a significant learning curve and give players the ability to master difficult skills.

Rooms of Doom feature multiple passageways through which players can travel. As they progress through the game, players must deal with a variety of obstacles in each different room. Some rooms feature moving metal walls that crush players, while others feature steel-handed creatures that can pulverize anyone who approaches. Others feature web-spinning mechanical spiders that can halt movement with silken threads. In this game, new rooms and contraptions crop up every time characters face a barrier in their path. New locations come to a standstill thanks to barriers that players can confront. This results in increased speed of movement over time until obstacles come into view. When you play as this character, you’re given a pair of wings that allow you to fly and avoid colliding with anything. Your character also gains speed, which requires them to dodge quickly.

In order to progress through the game, you need to collect golden hex nuts. These are dropped by creatures you face in the game, and they grant access to new elements of the game, such as additional characters with unique skills. There are many different creatures in number; they include Turbo Rex, TV Snail and many more. You can find information about these creatures, such as TV Snail's ability to defend against outside attacks in a protective shell. People can also use the power of Turbit to transform themselves into a defensive shell. Many different variations of these characters and conditions exist. Unlocking them helps you navigate through many difficult levels, which grants you more money as you progress. When faced with difficult levels, an exhilarating adventure sparks. Your journey through the game features limitless running as well as difficult obstacles and challenges. At any time, you can call on a creature with a mixed appearance and extraordinary abilities to aid you in danger. Finding higher paths and additional terrains increases the speed and movement abilities of your movement system. By earning new characters via Hex nuts, your skills determine which ones you unlock. Each character has several variations that need to meet a specific requirement to be unlocked. ———
