There are no instructions in Samorost 2. It's a touch-based game with no text that can be played with one finger. For example, after Gnome stepped onto an alien planet, he was bound by a tree. After attaching a creature to a tree trunk, the gnome successfully completed his next puzzle. I don't know what kind of rodent I used for this task, but it worked. The plot of Samorost 2 doesn't require any words or text to be understood. Some people will come to a different conclusion about the game's story than others. This is why it became one of the most popular puzzle games in the past 20 years; it managed to touch many hearts.

The game's developer stated that the Android version of Samorost 2 features extensive improvements over the original release. Many aspects of the game, such as graphics and size, have been sharpened and improved for optimal functionality on smartphones.
