School Simulator Darkness is a VR-oriented 3D school simulator. In it, the player takes the role of Sendagaya Shino, a student president at an educational institute. The game offers both day and night scenarios, as well as cases involving succubus and zombie enemies. Its engine features unreal graphics and a messy world that encourages player customization options. Additionally, it lets them combat missions with a school’s enemies both inside and outside the building.

The game begins in the student council room, where you converse with the school's characters. You then undertake various missions as the game progresses. Switch between viewpoints as you move through the school, investigate various locations and interact with characters that you care about. You perform all of these actions via the gamepad.

The Unreal Engine 3D character design is appealing with a 2D background thanks to the engine. The production was well done, such as being in conversation with an NPC and having training aspects such as customizing characters and improving their parameters. Even though it depends on the model, the operability is poor and operation is laborious. It’s frustrating when you can’t open the key to the student association room or unlock each locker in the staff room. Finding the key to this location is a priority in this quest; however, an unreliable map of the quest location means finding this key is pointless. In addition to finding the key, other problems arise with unclasping each locker door. One cause of this is a lack of an accurate map. A second problem emerges when searching for the key— if you include searching for the item in the same quest, your guide is useless. As a result, I want to create a map menu instead of just a traditional guide. This would provide more functionality and usefulness to this quest.

You have specific parameters for your character that change throughout the game. From costumes to skin color, you can fine-tune these aspects of your character. Several other costumes are available such as uniforms, gym clothes, plain clothes and darkness costumes.

The game's protagonist is the school president of a campus; throughout the plot, they complete several missions. Let's walk randomly through the school. The school's three-story structure contains a variety of specialized and regular classrooms. Completing the event gives access to special classrooms that are normally locked. Story events automatically occur when a dialogue option with a non-player character is selected. Find what you need or head to the location you selected. You can peer into lockers that conveniently line nearby walls. Right below the word that needs checking is a right-facing button. Tap this to confirm the word. At this moment, details about the character's appearance are being considered. Buying a costume allows you to change your appearance. ———
