SIDCAT (Cadastral Identification System) is an application that uses the public web services offered by the General Directorate of Cadastre for identification and public data query cadastral Spanish territory (except the Basque Country and Navarra, which has no power).

SIDCAT allows mapping overlay to Google Maps, mapping WMS service provided by the Cadastre, mapping information both urban and rustic, stock papers as used to carry out cadastral evaluation. Also featured are two layers of LPIS, with enclosures and parcels or orthophotos.

To Navarra provides a layer showing the parcels offered by the IDENA. In the Basque Country have not found other portals GeoEuskadi or a similar layer. When the put (or find, if it already exists) I have the intention to include it, so if anyone knows of its existence and I do get information in the mail, I'd appreciate.

The main features are:

- Search by GPS position, providing referral information closer to the current situation.

- Search on the map, (type viewer LPIS), which can move around the map, with the ability to add all WMS layers allowing Cadastre (also the value of papers) of LPIS or IDENA. Can also check the property cadastral data or rustic plot is selected at the center of the map.

- Search by the following criteria:
  - For cadastral reference.
  - For polygon-plot.
  - Guidance.

  In all searches, in addition to showing the cadastral information, you can check the location on the map of the property or parcel sought.

DISCLAIMER: WMS layers are activated only after a certain zoom level, to that level, although it would not allow anything useful and navigation would be slower (hence are disabled). Some layers like SIGPAC zoom need more than others.
