Passing certain levels unlocks new quests with increasingly difficult obstacles. Through continued exploration of the game's levels, additional and increasingly difficult monsters can be encountered. These creatures must be unplugged from a red hot pot or avoided by walking around them. Additionally, any wayward travelers must avoid an approaching cat. When kitchen monsters are discovered, they'll stage an invasion and relentlessly pursue you until you're dead. You should avoid confronting them and instead lure them into discretely set traps. Once destroyed, tailing them will expose their weakness and lead to their demise. New characters can be unlocked by collecting blocks of sugar. These characters will have higher movement speeds to help you avoid perilous situations on your journey. You must buy these characters with blocks of sugar; additional characters are available for purchase.

The control scheme for Silly Walks is relatively simple. You can walk by tapping the screen and swiping quickly. Talking can be easy to comprehend, but it's much harder than people realize. One of Silly Walks' main mechanics is SURFIN’— or flipping through the screen fast while walking. You will move around your leg until you hit the touchscreen; then, you'll change legs. Be careful when moving around the table; if you fall off, the game ends. The game's sensitive mechanics necessitate accurate touches that rotate around your thigh until switching to another part of your body.

The game’s 3D graphics platform is filled with jokes and silliness. The silly characters, puzzles and races in the game make it a fun experience.
