The taxi coach is a training and learning app from SPEZIALATLAS. It serves as preparation for the first part (the so-called local knowledge part) of the P-Schein examination. That is the part that used to be the written exam. It deals with the location of the districts, districts, settlements, streets, squares and objects.

The app is optimized for most Android smartphones with the latest operating systems. If the app does not run on your device, please send an email to info@spezialatlas.de stating your device model, your Android version and a description of how the error is expressed.

In the local knowledge section of the exam, taxi license applicants must correctly answer 45 out of 50 questions. Taxi-Coach 2018 works almost like the real local knowledge part of the exam: you get one question and five possible answers, of which you have to choose one or more. If you complete the selection, you will immediately be shown in training mode which of your answers were correct and which ones were wrong. In the exam simulation, you will receive a detailed evaluation after you have processed all 50 questions. You can repeat this as often as you like.

Difference to the real exam: It is not always the same five answers that you get for every question, but different every time. For example, if questions are asked about the limits of Seestraße, there are six possible correct answers (Beusselstr., Saatwinkler Damm, driveway A 100, Reinickendorfer Str., Louise-Schroeder-Platz, Osloer Str.). The database also contains a collection of incorrect answers (perhaps Friedrich-Olbricht-Damm, Nordufer, Markstr., Schwedenstr. Etc.). If the program has now selected the Seestraße as a question, it randomly draws some correct and some incorrect answers, five in total, which are displayed and which you must differentiate between correct and incorrect - as in the real test. Of course there are also many questions with just one correct answer (e.g. which street a certain object is on). Then there are four wrong answers - but in the app mostly different than in the previous run.

If you have sufficient knowledge of a catalog entry, you can deactivate it so that it no longer appears as a question. (But don't be too hasty: next time there will probably be other answers!) You can also filter out entire categories. If you e.g. For example, if you only want to learn streets and squares at first, simply switch off districts, districts, settlements and objects and switch them on again later. When you learn one district at a time, turn off individual districts at will and turn them on again later. You can also reactivate the deactivated individual questions with just two clicks. You can now also switch individual object categories on and off, e.g. B. First learn hotels, then museums and embassies etc.

The content of the app is updated several times a year. Do you already know, for example, where the Rummelsburger Landstrasse and Rummelsburger Strasse meet in Oberschöneweide? With the app you learn it in a playful way. You get the updates for free.
