Alongside these events, players encounter various smaller tasks that push their character forward. Various abilities grow as well, allowing characters to mature and explore more secrets. Ragnarok Origin accurately adapts the 2D colors and design of each scene to create an immersive experience. Its use of 3D space and smooth transition combine to create a powerful effect. The film boasts an impressive assortment of characters with different designs and personalities. European castles and palaces contrast against the grasslands they stand in, while the end credits appear over another scene with no indication of what’s next. Despite the heavy plot, Ragnarok Origin’s combat and sound effects are surprisingly soft. The game’s creator is truly talented for creating such a bright, joyful game that deals with a dark plot. It’s hard to find an MMORPG that feels as peaceful and pleasant as this one does. ———
