The two perspectives in Unmaze are light and dark, which represent two different characters. These effects include considerable loss of light and an increase in darkness, making players' focus on light and shadow. This will cause players to subconsciously consider the two different characters' interactions, making them feel immersed in the game's world.

Adventurers still search for answers in the world that still holds two lonely figures. The two continue to struggle against all obstacles through cooperation. In tight timelines filled with pressure and stress, the two gather stories lost by other characters and explore locations, puzzles and challenges together. Each character's trajectory of progress reveals different views of the tragic life lived before them.

Unmaze involves a power of friendship to propel its players through any mental challenge. As a psychological horror game, it uses themes of mental illness and danger that frighten players; if they’re not careful, defeat will overcome them. However, if players remain vigilant, the game rewards their efforts with the most frightful truths about each character.

The visual novel immerses the player with high-quality graphics and sound work. Each graphic element adds to the player's understanding of each character, enhancing the narrative by creating more stories for the player to explore. The scenarios are driven by the choices that players make in earlier parts of the narrative.
